When Courtney and Brooke from Styled and Snapped called us to see if we’d be interested in a colorful, bohemian themed styled shoot at The Venue Chattanooga we were so down! We have worked in The Venue many times in the past, but we were so excited for the opportunity to do a theme that was new and fun!
Colorful, Bohemian Wedding Style
The Venue Chattanooga was the perfect venue for our styled shoot + vendor party! It was perfect weather for this indoor / outdoor space and the lights at night had us feeling so enchanted!
So, we rounded up our vendor friends and made magic happen! No styled shoot is complete without the styling gurus, The Copper Quail and the floral creations of Fox & Fern! That mantle design left us speechless!
The model’s hair was styled by Amberjill with Pasha Salon, and makeup done by Holly with SpaGo!
The wedding dress and groom’s suit were provided by one of our favorite bridal boutiques, All Dressed Up! Everything paired perfectly with the details of the shoot! And we are still swooning over that boho macrame piece in the model’s hair!
It truly was the perfect set up! Wondering where you can rent these beautiful chiavari chairs and tabletop rentals? Give our friends at Chattanooga Tent a call! Also, check out those colorful sashes and napkins from White Table, that were used to make these tablescapes really POP!
Finally, the sweetest piece of the pie – the wedding cake! LoneStar Sweets knocked it out of the park with this sweet, floral two tier to complete the look of the shoot!
The Party!
After the set up was complete, we invited all our friends in the event industry to take a break and hang out with us for a festival themed party formally known as – VendorPalooza!
Everyone was blown away by the collaboration of the styled shoot participants! We loved having everyone together to talk about the Fall wedding season and get updates on what’s going on in their businesses!
It always a fun time when the roles are reversed and the vendors can be the ones getting pampered! Liza with Fox & Fern had a flower crown station, that was accompanied by the fabulous Shaina Ramsey who was braiding hair!
Snacks & Libations!
The Cosmic Blues Bar made its debut at VendorPalooza! The owners, Emily & Emily did such an amazing job revamping this camper to be the cutest thing we’ve ever ordered a drink from! Cheers to you both!
Above all, no party is complete without some hors d’oeuvres and cocktails! Denise from Chattown Catering whipped up several delicious dishes including stuffed mini bell peppers, mac and cheese bites, and eggplant hummus!
As for the beverages, Mad Priest brought their cocktail game with recipes created just for the event! Here’s Micheal, the owner, concocting the Haydee – a combination of Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka, lemon, and pamplemousse!
And what could make this party even more fun? Live music from Slim Pickins Bluegrass band! They’re an excellent addition to any event needing a little back home flavor. We loved jamming with you guys!
Not only were the top industry professionals present, but we also enlisted a fire dancer to come perform! She had us all on the edge as she twirled fire high in the sky!
